FASHION MONTH SS24 “THE DRAMA”

Who should be sitting in first front row in a fashion show? How can someone steal from an unrealease collection and not be caught? There is nothing I like more than drama during the fashion month so today I will make a summary:

1. Robberies

Needless to say that this is something terrible that should never happend to any artist. I felt like Balmain show was going to be cancelled as soon as i read the article but THE SHOW MUST GO ON and Olivier Rousteing works harder than anyone. He was robbed a lot of pieces from his collection for the fashion week but he didn´t allow that to stop him.

Last time I heard about a robbery was back in 2016, when Kim Kardashian was robbed in her hotel 10 million worth of jewelry.

Actually, fashion creates staments pieces that could be iconic, making them worth million of euros. Designers choose the best materials for the tailoring, from thread to gold or perals. I am not talking about clothes I am talking about art.

 

2.  Anok Yai vs Nextmodels

 Her walk for Mugler was breathtaking. Fashion month ss24 belongs to her. But her Instagram post with the “Keep it cute” quote directy to Nextmodels Management company tells me that she is not in good terms with them. She´s my favorite model, so whatever that happended, I am on her side. In four months she become one of the most important models in the industry, from an Instagram post to channel fashion show. Till this day, we don´t know why she left Nextmodels Management.

3. Being late// Front Row

 

The streets are saying that Anna wintour is tired of seeing people (celebrities at most) being late, especially if you have the privilage to sit in the front row or next to her. It is now on trend in fashion-tiktok to complain about influencers or celebrities being seated in the front row where they´re not supposed to be.

 Happened this time with Kim Kardashian, Anna wintoure´s schedule is planned espeacilly for the fashion month so Kim Kardashian being late, made her rush to the next show.

-        “Kim was super late. Anna was mad because the show was delayed until Kim arrived… she was late to other shows” - Page six reports.

 

 

Now that fashion month is over, I will be looking foward to the next fashion dramas.

¿Quién debería sentarse en primera fila en una pasarela? ¿Realmente es posible robar una colección sin ser visto? No hay nadie a quién le guste más el drama durante el mes de la moda que a mi, así que hoy os haré una recopilación.

 

1. Robos

 

No hace falta decir que esto es lo peor que le podría pasar a cualquier artista. Pensé que no tendríamos a Balmain este mes pero Oliver Rousteing supo sobrellevarlo bastante bien. Le robaron muchísimas piezas destinadas a la fashion week pero eso no le paró y se recompuso en tiempo récord. La última vez que leí un artículo así fue en 2016 con el robo a Kim Kardashian y sus joyas (valoradas en 10 millones de dólares)

De hecho, la moda crea piezas que podrían llegar a ser icónicas, haciendo que su valor aumente en millones. Los diseñadores eligen los mejores materiales, desde el hilo hasta oro o incluso perlas. No estamos hablando de ropa sino de arte.

 

2. Anok Yai vs Nextmodels management

 

Su caminata para Mugler me dejó sin aliento. El mes de la moda le pertenece solo a ella. Pero su foto en su historia de Instagram con la frase "keep it cute" en la que etiquetó a su antigua agencia de modelos Nextmodels Management me dice que no acabaron del todo bien

Anok Yai es mi modelo favorita y yo estoy de su lado, su carrera profesional empezó con una foto en Instagram y ahora camina para Channel (como mínimo). Realmente, no tenemos ninguna actualización de su relación con su antigua compañía.

 

3. Llegar tarde// primera fila

 

Las calles dicen que Anna Wintour está cansada de ver cómo los invitados llegan tarde a los shows, especialmente si se sientan a su lado o en primera fila. Ahora mismo es muy tendencia en high fashion TikTok cuestionar quién debe realmente sentarse en primera fila y quien no. Esto pasó con Kim Kardashian, el horario de Anna Wintour está planeado de forma cuadriculada de manera que nada debería salirse de los horarios establecidos, lo que no tuvieron en cuenta es que Kim Kardashian llegaría tarde y retrasarían el comienzo de uno de los shows, haciendo que Anna Wintour tuviese que darse prisa para el siguiente show.

Ahora que el mes de la moda llegó a su fin, me dedicaré a esperar otro mes más de la moda para más drama.
